BASKA VODA
Baska Voda is a small seaside town located 4Km from Promajna and is accessible by walkway along the oceanfront from Promajna. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes. Baska Voda features great beaches, dining options and nightlife.
BRELA
Brela is located 6Km from Promajna and is accessible by a 6 minute drive. This town also features great beaches and restuarants.
MAKARSKA
Makarska is the largest center on the Makarska Riviera and is located 9Km from Promajna. It is accessible by a 9 minute drive. Being the center of the region, it features great restaurants, markets and nightlife with many bars and nightclubs. Be sure to check out the promenade and St. Peter Forest Park which features a great lookout over Makarska and the Biokovo mountain.
IMOTSKI
Imotski is an inland town accessible by a 30 minute drive from Promajna. This town makes a great day trip. Be sure to check out the famous Blue Lake which can be accessed by walking down a spiralling path. You can also swim in the lake. If you want to see more, you can also see the Red Lake which is even deeper. Take a tour down the cobblestone streets of the old town and visit the local wineries.
BIOKOVO MOUNTAIN
The Biokovo mountain sits besides the Makarska Riviera. The mountain features great walking and hiking tracks for experienced walkers. If you do not wish to walk, it is possible to drive to the peak, Sveti Jure, by car.
SPLIT
Split is the largest city in Southern Croatia and is a 1 hour drive from Promajna. The center of the town contains the old walled city with Diocletian Palace and the Saint Domnius Bell Tower which can be climbed for a great view of the city. The city contains many great restaurants and ancient attractions, a must visit for any traveller.
